Dead Sea Shores

Dead Sea water, the lake in southern Palestine in which the river Jordan terminates. It has a length of 47 miles and a width of 10 miles, depth of 1,080 feet; and is the lowest sheet of water on the earth's crust. Jordan pours into the Dead Sea on a daily average a volume of water estimated at 6 million tons.

The white rocks are the crystal salt. The salinity of the water contains 23-25% salts. The chloride of magnesium gives the water its nauseous taste, and the chloride of calcium its smooth, oily feeling is a description of how the water is. (Magnesium, sodium, calcium, and potassium are present as chlorides) is a great remedy for resolving most of skin's problem.
