Thank you Ma & Pa for having me all these years through thick and thin. You have given me so much love I could never contain. I hope I could bring my child (children) just the way you did for me. Integrity of hearts, virtue of humility are treasures indeed you both passed on. Wish I could be as near as all my brothers and sisters are with you. However, though far away from you all, I am always near in spirit and mind.
My children are like one colossal university that will not cease from teaching me the mysteries of life, leaving imprints in my heart.
Describing what love is can be as simple as saying, "Darryl!" He will put things aside for a friend who needs his help. He can give his meal to someone who is hungry. He is a total love and patience seems to envelop his nature. These are some of the qualities I can describe about Darryl. After his car accident in 1992, all these memories have come to live in my heart.
At 3 years of age, swimming at the pool almost everyday was his hobby. Soccer was the game he played in kindergarten. He got a souvenier (scar) on his nose bridge where a golf club of a friend struck Daryll's nose while they were playing golf. Football and bowling were among his favorites during his teen years. Certificates of appreciation from academic activities and trophies he won from playing sports were his collections he silently kept through the years. Darryl Dwight was a talented and gifted young man I am always proud of.
"Eternal rest grant unto Daryll: Lord, let perpetual light shine upon him. May you rest in peace, my love!" Amen.
Cheryll Lynn is the sunshine of my life. Hoping that every dawn is better than the last, my hopes and prayers are always there for her.
Cheryll is very independent and hard working person. Although her description of being an adult does not meet my own understanding, I give her credit for her great sense of responsibilities acquired in her life. She excelled in grades' school, but during her last years in high school, her focus was scattered when she had her first job while studying. Somehow, she finished high school and quit after the first semester in college. Every breath that I take, my heart cries out love for her. Unique description of Cheryll formulates an adoption of love simmered by fragrant oil of hope: Love that is always burning, and love that always stays.
